Raise your hands if you're in the 1% tax bracket! Show of hands? Anyone? Show your hands if you were sent here by them on their behalf. Anyone? No? Anyone here believe sticking up for them is going to grant you special favours or put you into their good graces? Really? Lemme know how that goes. ;D

Oh yeah, that'll get him rushing right on back here. Hey Joe, DWB needs his Liberal fix. He needs to have a word war or something. This indoctrinated Human Child wants to call you one too. Wait what? Here we go again? Blaring glaring double standards don't even phaze these kids, lol. How Old are you, DW?

Well, ya could always go on over to the other blog and brag about what new clever names and insults you came up with to use on Democrats, Liberals and Joe. They're pretty active over there.

Don't take MY hard earned money. I'll give it to charities if I please, but don't try to make my income go to people who aren't working who could be. America is the land of opportunity, so quit whining!

What's up democrat? 2 long months since you posted. We know carrying all that water for your manchild, governor, and mayor really wears you out. It gets old lying and covering for all those lies you democrats are spewing out there.

You don't need to pull out the pacifier to type.

So, they sold it as a bill to fund education, then they changed it. How many people have the time to look up and read every bill?
Dishonest comes to mind!
If the lottery was not going into a fund for Education......they should have said so! AT THAT TIME!

This isn't about Envy, this is about Equality. We don't want what They have, we want what Everyone wants: A fair shake.

Some just wound up more skilled at, or luckier than others.

That unspoken, but very significant, social contract of paying it forward into the system that made you successful may help keeping just a very select few from being absurdly wealthy in a nation of those who're suffering.

Us serfs should only help the rich lords and ladies built their top-heavy trickle-down pyramids for so long.

A Wise man / wiseacre lol, once told me that "The Lottery is Famous amongst those Terrible at Math."

I'd say Infamous, but yeah.

Won't this be a sticky issue for those complaining about how their tax money is being spent but yet spend more money yearly "playing the lottery".

Why are you libs so envious of what OTHER people make or don't make?? Why are you so wrapped up in what "the other guy" earns?? Worry about yourself and concentrate on ways to better YOURSELF. I don't care that Gates or Buffett make billions. I also don't care what they do with their money; that's their business. . . And it's NOE OF YOUR BUSINESS EITHER!!

All you folks are doing is making the financially successful a "straw-man" in an argument and pitting them against those who are "less successful" among us. What does that solve?? Has ANY of this destructive rhetoric produced a single PENNY of extra income for YOU?????

What you all need to understand is that no matter how much you try and level the OUTCOMES in life, some are just simply more ambitious, smart, motivated (place your favorite adjective here) then others and their motivation will always ensure that they have more than someone else. Conversely, there will always be those who are lazy among us who will sit with their hand-out. That is just a fact of the human condition and no bit of legislation will change that.

What stealing money from those who work hard and make smart business choices to give to others will actually motivate the "makers of wealth" to simply stop working (and stop creating for the benefit of others). I'm almost at that cross-road right now. Not that I make a lot of money, but as a small business owner I have to decide whether or not the time, effort, long days, sleepless nights is worth the very small pay-off after the government takes most of my income. I can say from experience that you do NOT have to be "rich" in the sense that most people think to get financially RAPED by the government through punative taxation.

Don't believe me?? Start your own business and you're ENTIRE outlook on the government will change dramatically and you will see just how parasitic it is!! As an employee, you will NEVER understand or even know how much the government takes from your employer. . .
